A Green And Socially Responsible Business

Here at k. h a l l , we believe being green is a daily process. An evolving, heightened awareness of the impact we have on this good Earth is a responsibility we all share and can only be a positive thing. Conducting our little company with the goals of a sustainable business, ecology, and society in mind has been a part of the k. h a l l family since we began almost 10 years ago, and will always be a driving force behind what we are designing, creating, and sharing everyday. The fun part for us is knowing that being environmentally conscious happens to be what smells, looks, and feels best for you!

• All of our products are as green as possible while still having a shelf life. They are a minimum of 95% natural and most products are much higher. As soon as there is an all natural working preservative, we will use it.
• Our candles are an all vegetable blend with a large amount of soy, and other waxes for a denser wax. Produced by American farmers, this renewable resource is 100% natural with a cotton core wick.
• All of our containers are 100% recyclable. We use PET #1 recyclable glass and poly styrene #6 plastic, and only use recycled or reusable materials for packaging.
• We do not test on animals, use animal by products or petroleum bases, nor do we do not use artificial, synthetic, or fake fragrances.
• We work at minimizing energy consumption and practice energy efficiency on a daily basis.
• We practice Fair Trade as it is generally understood today and Fair Business Practices including fair treatment of employees.
• We enjoy giving back to the community including paid weeks of community service for all employees.
• In the past, we have designed products whose proceeds go to non-for profit causes such as heart disease, and continue to do so for different organizations on a yearly basis.
