How long have you been in business?
K Hall designs was founded in 1997, but Kelley Barr began designing and making bath products in 1988.

Who owns K. Hall Designs?
John (business brain) and (designer) Kelley Barr. This is a family owned and operated business with a great family-like staff.

Why this business?
We love scents and goods that makes people feel soothed and relaxed. We wanted to make products that were minimally packaged, that smell naturally great and work even better.

Where do you make your products?
In the U.S.A. Nearly all are made by hand in St. Louis, MO.

Are your products natural?
Our products are as natural as they can be and still have a shelf life. They are a minimum 95% natural and most products much higher. As soon as there is an all natural working preservative, we will use it. We do not use animal, or petroleum bases and we do not test on animals.

Are your candles soy?
Our candles are an all vegetable blend with a large amount of soy but our formula is blended with other waxes for a denser wax. Produced by American Farmers, this renewable resource is 100% natural. We also use an all cotton core wick.

How long do the reed diffusers last?
From two months to eight months. Four months on average. Because we use many natural oils, and we do not add enhancers or scent extended, it is the make up of each individual oil that determines that. As well as where it is located in the room. Keep out of direct sunlight, and away from vents to have the scent last longer.

Do you use essential oils?
Many of the k. hall designs scents are 100% essential. Many are a blend of essential and other oils. This is evident with the scents themselves. They tend to smell comforting, familiar, fresh and real. They do not smell synthetic or fake. If it says lavender, it smells like lavender, the real thing.

Are your containers recyclable?
Yes. We use recyclable/reusable glass, PET#1 and poly styrene #6 plastic. After burning we suggest using our candle glass as a drinking glass – we do!
